Rereading of the work Preludio N 1 - in E flat, for guitar by Heitor Villa-lobos, performed by échantillonnage numérique (wasem_simon.near and apedraqueronca.near).

The guitar solo sequenced score becomes a signal source to activate a granular digital synthesizer, and thus the preset layer was fixed, referencing the initial subversion of the work. In a second moment, the duo échantillonnage numérique improvises the electronic counterpoint, ad libitum, according to the immediate impression of the sound gesture. In this sense, the present interpretation preserves traces of the mixed tradition, where a content recorded in the media is performed as a counterpoint to a concert performance.

This single is released in celebration of the centenary of the Brazilian modern art week.
